Day 5....Hair

Time to get your hair into shape for the hectic holiday season and the torture you will most likely put it through from curling irons etc. I suggest from today onwards using a hair treatment twice weekly. Choose a mask depending on your hair type and massage a liberal amount in. Comb through and then put on a plastic shower cap like the ones you get in hotels. Cover with a warm towel, the heat will enable the mask to penetrate better and leave on for at least half an hour before rinsing thoroughly. If possible allow hair to dry naturally afterwards to preserve some of the moisture you've just added. For a real treat you can leave it on overnight with the shower cap on and rinse in the morning!

A few good treatments to try are:

Defabulous Get Closer Scalp Aid Treatment for Dandruff, Dry Scalp and Oily Hair. This controls itchiness and flaking of the scalp and restores moisture to brittle hair making it healthier.

Neil George Intense Repair Mask for dry, color treated and dehydrated hair. This is a luxurious treatment saturated with Indian Gooseberry and helps to rebuild the hair, maintaining color and improving its strength and elasticity.

Bed Head Tigi Superstar Conditioner for Thick Massive Hair. It's lightweight formula adds fullness and lots of shine. It can also be used like a regular conditioner daily.

Moroccan Oil Restorative Hair Mask is a therapeutic remedy that helps to undo the damage done by chemicals and other environmental elements like sun and wind. It helps to restore hair's inner health bringing out the shine.

Hercut Deep Conditoner is a good option for a lighter treatment but still deeply conditioning. More suitable for those with oily roots and dry ends, it doesn't weight the hair down.

Pantene Beautiful Lengths 5 Minute Strengthening Rinse Off Mask is a great affordable treatment. As the name says you only need to leave this on for 5 mintues to get great results and it guards against breakage.
